Eric and Jean Skattebo
Eric and Jean Skattebo were married in 1987 and they have two High School aged children. Eric was born in Wisconsin, USA and Jean was born in St. Lucia, West Indies and they have lived in Puerto Rico, St. Lucia and Ecuador as missionaries before coming to Australia as missionaries in 2003 with HCJB. Eric’s background is in radio, sales and ministry and Jean and Eric co-hosted “The International Friendship Programme” on short-wave radio with HCJB for several years.
They became full-time FamilyLife missionaries in 2007 where Eric is the Creative Producer and Program developer for our radio department. They are both part of the FamilyLife speaker team. Eric is an extrovert personified and does not know a stranger. Jean is known for her infectious laugh and bear hugs.
